DO YOU HAVE ANY MEMORIES OF WOLVERHAMPTON GRAND THEATRE PRIOR TO THIS CURRENT VISIT?
I grew up in Walsall - I remember coming here aged about 17 on a school trip to see Timothy West play King Lear for Prospect Theatre Company. Finally, after 40-something years in the business, I get to tread the same boards!

WHAT HAVE YOU ENJOYED MOST ABOUT YOUR TIME?
This is a beautiful theatre and it is clearly loved by those who run it. Spending my backstage hours in 'Kinky Boots' has been a delight!
.
HAVE THERE BEEN ANY MEMORABLE MOMENTS DURING THIS VISIT?
In the play we have an inn called 'The Gifford Arms'. We were highly amused to find that Wolverhampton has it's own 'Giffard Arms' (spelt a bit differently, of course), and I gather it's haunted too!
.
ANY OTHER COMMENTS?
I have thoroughly enjoyed the week - the audiences are great, the care and attention of the staff superb. I only wish the theatre ghost had come to say hello!
