The orchestra’s Principal Conductor and the Grand Theatre’s Chief Executive, Adrian Jackson, will conduct a programme of musical favourites, from stage and screen, all concluding with a Grand Flag-waving Proms finale. The programme will include; music from Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, West Side Story. Movie favourites including The Dam Busters March, Schindler’s List, RAF March Past and many more. The evening will conclude with a traditional “Last Night of the Proms” featuring; Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia, Henry Wood’s Sea Songs, The Radetzky March and Jerusalem.  English National Opera & Welsh National Opera stars John Hudson and Elizabeth MacDonald, and stage actress Julie Paton, join our host Angela Rippon in this most lavish evening of celebration......flag waving and party poppers are compulsory.’ Dress to impress!
